This is an active game that is similar to simon says. The teacher can encourage the children to do athletic moves so that they are getting exercise while they play.

This website allows children to play a game where they choose a place within a community and then pick things that you would find in the place. For example, the child is given the option to pick a home, store, restaurant, fire station, etc. If the child picks a home, she will be given the option to pick a can opener, a police officer, etc. Obviously, the child would pick a can opener.
